First of all, Srimadvirat Veerabrahmendraswamy Charitra Movie is a 1984 Telugu hagiographical film produced & directed by N. T. Rama Rao on his Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner. NTR portrayed the characters of Gautama Buddha, Vemana, Ramanuja and Adi Shankara in addition to the title role of Pothuluri Veerabrahmam. NTR acted in this film while he was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Rati Agnihotri, Satyanarayana, Kanchana in other important roles and music composed by Susarla Dakshinamurthi. The film recorded as Super Hit at box office.
However, The story is based on the life of Pothuluri Veerabrahmam (N. T. Rama Rao) a well-known saint and astronomer of the 17th century. A brief life of Gautama Buddha, Ramanuja, Adi Shankata and Vemana (all essayed by NTR) are shown in the beginning of the film.

N Taraka Rama Rao (28 May 1923 – 18 January 1996), popularly known as NTR, was an Indian actor, producer, director, film editor and politician. He served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema and one of the two legends of Telugu cinema. Along with Akkineni Nageswara Rao. NTR received three National Film Awards for co-producing Thodu Dongalu (1954) and Seetharama Kalyanam (1960) under National Art Theater, Madras, and for directing Varakatnam (1970). Head of the Papagni Mutt, Chikballapur, Karnataka, was on a pilgrimage with his wife. The couple visited the Sage Atri Ashram, and Sage Atri gave the child to the couple. In other words, They received the child as a divine gift and returned to Papagni Mutt. The child was named ‘Veeram Bhotlaiah’.
