Kode Kattu Mokku
“Kode Mokku” is special in this temple. Devotees bring their grown ox (kode) and do pradakshina with traditional band and tie it to the pillar near to the dwaja sthambam. It is believed that the pilgrims who wished for children will do this kode kattu after their wish is fulfilled.
Most importantly, If you can’t bring your own because you don’t have an ox, still you can do the pooja by buying a ticket. The temple will provide a kode to tie.
This Kode mokku is also famous in Vemulawada. Most of the Telangana Shiva Temples have this tradition. Shiva is also know as “Nandhi Vaahanudu“.
In Conclusion, this is the most important pooja.
